Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing
This Division staffs the Private Professional Guardians and Conservators programs. The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development adopts regulations to carry out laws governing the practice of Private Professional Guardians and Conservators in Alaska.

Arizona Judicial Branch
The Fiduciary Licensing Program is designed to help ensure Arizona’s elderly, mentally incapacitated and other vulnerable citizens have licensed individuals or business managing their financial affairs, medical decisions and other vital matters.

CA Professional Fiduciaries Bureau

New Hampshire Judicial Branch
The Probate Court Administrative Judge may certify professional guardians who would then be eligible for appointment as a guardian of the person, guardian of the estate or guardian of the person and estate of an incapacitated adult or a minor if requested by a petitioner.

Guardian/Conservator Association of Oregon
The GCA of Oregon is a volunteer, non-profit organization, and is the Oregon affiliate of the National Guardianship Association. The GCA offers training and support for Guardians and Conservators in Oregon.

Washington Certified Professional Guardian Program
To achieve the greatest protection for the estates and affairs of incapacitated persons in Washington State, the Certified Professional Guardian Board adopts and implements regulations governing certification, minimum standards of practice, training, and discipline of professional guardians.

The mission of NGA is to provide educational training and networking opportunities for guardians and about guardianship; to promote highest levels of values, standards and ethics; and to ensure a nationally recognized standard of excellence.
